5/3/2023 0 Comments Dell wd19tb drivers![]() Not the first strange external display behavior on the M1s as far as WWW tells us. It's bad since I took my Mac to work and they all worked with the docks available there. The Docks from worked like a charm with pre M1-Mac too and not working either with M1-Macs (neither Full-HD nor QHD Displays via DP or HDMI). The fact that this dock works like a charm with pre M1-Macs points me to the same direction. To troubleshoot, I connected the generic 7-in-1 USB-C dongle from Amazon that I travel with directly to the monitor using HDMI (it's the only video port on the dongle as well) - monitor works. I'd read elsewhere that the presence of a 2nd display bus on a dock or dongle would likely prevent the M1 from wanting to work even if only one was actually being used, but this dock has only one bus. ![]() No change with the laptop screen open or closed. I can open the preferences pane and see the other monitor is recognized by name and change settings, etc. The MBA recognizes but does not output to the external display when connected to this dock. There are no other video ports on this dock. ![]() I do not have the OWC dock that is currently being sold that has MiniDP, I have the previous version that has HDMI only. HDMI display not working with M1 MacBook Air + OWC USB-C Dock I have switched to an M1 MBA from the 2015 12" Retina Macbook.įor several years I have been using the OWC USB-C Dock with HDMI and a 32" LG monitor that has HDMI and DP outputs. When I manually switch to 60Hz same behavior: Dark screen sometimes the image flickers in to disappear right away.Ĭurrently waiting for a USB-C to HDMI cable trying to directly connect to the display. Should run since it is supported by the dock. I tried a my Samsung TV at the dock at 4K connected via HDMI its able to run but just which also is not correct. The Dell Dock should be supported since it is Apple certified: Tried a DisplayPort to HDMI Cable -> Not workingĪll I get is a black screen sometimes it flickers green. ![]() HDMI Cable from Dock to Display -> Not working.Įxchanged HDMI cables two times -> Not working It's a standard FullHD BENQ 24inch screen. USB replicator is working Flawlessly but I cant get a single Monitor to run. I'm using am MacBook Air M1 with Dell WD19TB dock. ![]()
